“We would just like to thank you for looking after [our daughter] in surgery and for performing such an amazing operation which in the future will truly benefit her” – parents of SD
I treat young patients for a range of congenital and acquired hand and upper limb conditions.
I trained in paediatric hand surgery at Leeds General Infirmary and Wythenshawe Hospital. These are two of the largest specialist centres treating children’s hand conditions in the UK.
From simple procedures to the most complex microsurgical limb reconstruction, you can be confident your child is in the right hands. Working closely with you and your child we will decide together the optimum course of treatment, and the best timing for it to take place. We consider your child’s age, schooling and interests, as well as their own unique hand requirements. I also take all the time needed to ensure that you all fully understand and are comfortable with the treatment plan.
Conditions I treat include:
• Trigger thumb
• Camptodactyly and clinodactyly
• Lumps and bumps
• Traumatic injuries
• Thumb duplication or hypoplastic thumb
• Erbs palsy (OBPI)
• Spasticity in the upper limb
• Poland Syndrome and symbrachydactyly
• Cleft hand
